We keep this short and specific, because a privacy policy you cannot read is not really a privacy policy.
Who we are
Zero To Algo publishes From Zero to Algorithmic Trading, a digital handbook sold through this store.
What we collect
When you buy the handbook we receive the details needed to complete and deliver your order: your name, your email address, your billing address, and a record of what you bought and when. We also receive the ordinary technical information any website receives, such as your browser, your device and the pages you visited.
What we never see
Your card details. Payments are processed entirely by Shopify and its payment providers. Your card number never reaches us, and we could not store it even if we wanted to.
How we use it
- To deliver your handbook and send your receipt.
- To send you future revisions of the edition you bought, which are included free.
- To answer you when you contact support.
- To understand, in aggregate, how people find and use this store.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to data brokers.
Advertising and analytics
We may use Shopify's built in analytics and the Meta pixel to measure whether our advertising works. These tools use cookies and may record that you visited this store or completed a purchase. They never receive your payment details. You can limit this through your browser settings or your advertising preferences on the relevant platform.
Who else touches your data
Only the services required to run the store: Shopify, which hosts this store and processes payments, and the service that emails your receipt and download link. Each handles your data under its own privacy terms, and only to fulfil your order.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires, and so that we can re-send your handbook if you ever lose it. Everything else is deleted once it is no longer useful.
Your rights
Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will action it, free of charge, as quickly as we reasonably can.
Children
This store is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and change the date below. Material changes affecting existing customers will be emailed.
